📡 DIGITAL DETECTIVES — THE COLLECTORS

Digital safety that feels like an escape room, not a test.

An interactive digital resilience lesson for ages 11-12
Students take on the role of Digital Detective and work together to stop an online gang — The Collectors — who hunt for children's personal data. No bare multiple-choice questions, but 22 different missions: from investigating a suspicious profile to deciding within 60 seconds which message to forward and which to delete.

Below you can play three real missions from the full game — exactly as a student experiences them. No account needed.
🚩 THE COMMON THREAD THROUGH THE GAME

Every mission is different, but students always learn to recognise the same three warning signs — whether it's a fake profile, a phishing message or a chain letter:

⏱️
Urgency
"Right now", "before midnight", "or it'll be too late". Time pressure is designed to prevent clear thinking.
⚡
"Must act now"
A threat or reward that's only valid if you act immediately. Real organisations always give you time to think.
🤐
"Don't tell your parents"
The moment someone asks you to keep something secret from parents or teachers, that request itself is the biggest red flag.

📄 While playing, students can consult the factsheet at any time — an overview page with all the facts and recognisable signals from the game, always one click away via the button top right.

These are 3 of the 22 missions. The full game also includes phishing recognition, passwords & 2FA, deepfakes, the dark web, cyberbullying, and a big finale where teams work together to unmask the leader of The Collectors.
